Humigy Legal
5 sections · Please read carefully
1. Who can ask
A clinic owner can ask us to close the clinic’s Humigy account. A doctor or staff member can ask us to close their own login. This page is for the Humigy apps for iPhone and Android and for the Humigy web app.
If you are a patient, your records belong to your clinic. Please ask the clinic to correct or erase them; the clinic can ask us to help.
2. How to ask
- Fill in the request form on this page: your name, the email address you sign in with, your clinic’s name, and whether you want to close the whole clinic or only your own login.
- Or write to support@humigy.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my Humigy account”.
- Do not send passwords, one-time codes or any patient details.
We reply to confirm it is you. We may ask you to confirm by replying from the same email address.
3. What happens next
- Once we have confirmed it is you, your login is closed and you are signed out of the Humigy apps and the web app. We aim to do this within 30 days.
- If you ask to close the whole clinic, every login of the clinic is closed. Tell us first if you want a copy of the clinic’s records.
- You will receive an email when your account is closed.
4. What we keep, and for how long
Clinics have to keep patient records for a period set by law, and disputes between a patient, a doctor and us can arise later. So after your account is closed we keep the clinic’s records, locked, for 3 years by default. During that time they are used only to answer a legal or audit request, and for nothing else.
After that period the personal information is permanently erased. The period can be set longer for a clinic where the law requires it, and it is never shorter than the minimum the law requires.
